The Kitsville Caper is the first book in the Jasper Drew Cat series, written by Charlotte Richard. Aside from writing children's picture books, Charlotte has also written numerous short stories for magazines and is presently completing a teen fantasy novel. Charlotte lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with her husband and two sons.

Cathy Peng has been painting and drawing since she was a little girl. She studied art and illustration at post-secondary level, and has designed and created her own greeting card line. The Kitsville Caper is the first book in the Jasper Drew Cat series, illustrated by Cathy Peng. Cathy lives in Toronto, Ontario, with one of her muses, her cat.
